A Post-Thanksgiving Trip

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I know I did! I was home for most of Thanksgiving break, but for the last couple of days, I went to Portsmouth with my family. If you have seen a previous post of mine, you know I love Portsmouth. It is such a cute little city.

When we got to Portsmouth, I was really hungry, so, we stopped at a restaurant called the Green Elephant. I hadn’t been here before or even heard of it, but it is some of the best vegan food I have ever had. Even if you’re not vegan, definitely try this place out. After that, we just spent the day walking around and shopping. It was such a fun day and a perfect way to end Thanksgiving break.

For my outfit, I wanted to be really comfortable because I knew we would be walking around all day. I paired a thrifted turtleneck with my favorite jeans (they’re on sale right now!). I added a belt to balance out how loose the jeans were and to keep my turtleneck tucked in. The sweater I’m wearing has been such a staple this fall because of how warm it’s been. It’s not summer weather, but all you need is a cozy layering sweater and you’re set. Also, if you’re looking for a good gift for someone or yourself, definitely consider a big cross body one like the Botkier one I’m wearing. It fits everything you could possibly need and works with almost any outfit (I linked a similar one down below and it’s on sale!). To finish the look, I wore my favorite Nike sneakers with some simple jewelry.
