This semester has easily been the busiest and craziest one yet. I made the decision to transfer schools so I could live in New York City and I got more involved in my current school. With all that has been going on, my friend and I decided to take the afternoon and chill at our favorite cafe, Terrain.
Terrain is owned by the company that owns Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People. There are plants, flowers and cute home decorations everywhere. The atmosphere gives off such good vibes it’s impossible not to be relaxed there.
For my outfit, I wanted to choose an outfit I would wear once I’m living in the city next year. I wore my favorite black high-rise jeans (they’re on sale!) and paired them with a cute, but simple, Calvin Klein t-shirt. My over-the-knee boots have been a staple in my wardrobe this fall/winter. Surprisingly, my mom found them for me at Target, but they’re such a good dupe for the Stuart Weitzman ones. My faux fur jacket is another piece I’ve been obsessed with this winter. It’s super warm, soft and chic.
Lately, I have made it a goal to try to wear more jewelry because it really adds a cool edge to even the simplest outfits. My Hermés bracelet is the newest piece in my collection and I absolutely love it. I know it’s expensive, but it’s the only bangle style bracelet that has ever fit and looked good on my wrist. The quality is perfection and I would absolutely say it’s worth every penny. I finished the look off with a delicate precious stone choker to balance out some of the edginess of this look.
